    Resolutions That Shine Beyond Jewelry

    Bijouterie La Perle Rare

    7 January 2026

The beginning of a new year naturally invites reflection. We make resolutions, redefine our priorities, and strive to do better — for ourselves, but also for others. At La Perle Rare Jewelry, this season of renewal brings us back to a deep conviction: luxury and fine jewelry find their true meaning when rooted in a human, social, and philanthropic commitment, firmly anchored in the local community.

For many years, our jewelry store has been actively involved with charitable organizations that resonate with us and reflect the values we share with our clientele. These actions, carried out with heart and consistency, demonstrate our genuine desire to contribute positively to our community. Here, we present a few initiatives undertaken over the past five years. They are part of a broader story: in 2026, La Perle Rare Jewelry will celebrate 40 years of presence and craftsmanship, guided by the same determination to remain a jewelry house deeply rooted in its community. Behind every piece of jewelry, there is a story. Behind our jewelry store, there is also a sincere commitment to contribute, in our own way, to a more compassionate world.

    Committing Where It Truly Matters

Some causes move us because of their urgency, others because of their human impact. Together, they form a coherent local commitment guided by attentiveness, proximity, and the desire to make a meaningful difference.

Health holds an important place among these commitments. In recent years, we have contributed to the Fondation des Cœurs Rubis, whose mission is to mobilize resources to allow as many patients as possible to benefit free of charge from cardiovascular rehabilitation programs. We have also supported the BNI Cancer Fund, a fund of the National Bank.

We have supported the Canadian Cancer Society, notably through the Daffodil Campaign. Every spring in April, volunteers sell fresh daffodils to raise funds and increase public awareness. This symbol of hope, strength, and resilience echoes the human and social values that guide our engagement.

We also took part in the charitable event “Un air de champagne,” a fundraising campaign for the Fondation Santé Trois-Rivières (FSTR), which created in 2025 a specialized fund dedicated to respiratory diseases and thoracic surgery. This fund aims to improve respiratory care in the region.

Supporting and Assisting the Most Vulnerable

This desire to care for others also extends to children and families. We supported the Sainte-Justine Christmas Tree campaign for sick children.

As part of the 2025 back-to-school campaign organized by Nancy Lemyre and Patrick Casault, two entrepreneurs from Trois-Rivières, we contributed to the purchase of backpacks and school supplies for children in need, helping them begin the school year with dignity and hope.

Each year, we also offer Christmas gifts to various groups, such as residences and organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters. These gestures, sometimes discreet, are deeply meaningful to us: they embody our social commitment and our desire to support those who need it most.

In this same spirit of supporting the most vulnerable, we raised funds for Maison Le FAR through the sale of a special silver jewelry collection. This philanthropic initiative was particularly close to our hearts. Maison Le FAR assists women who are victims of violence, whether or not they have children, by offering a safe space, guidance, and essential support to help them begin a new chapter. Through this charitable action, we sought to place jewelry at the service of a major social cause and to contribute concretely to lasting well-being within our local community.

    Raising Awareness, Preventing, Taking Action

Being a jeweler today also means using our visibility to raise awareness and encourage dialogue. The sale of bracelets supporting suicide prevention is part of this approach, as is our February initiative carried out with GEMME, where $1 is donated to the Association québécoise de prévention du suicide (AQPS) for every watch battery sold. Simple, accessible gestures, yet deeply meaningful.

In the same spirit, the launch of our candle collection containing a hidden jewel allows us to donate $5 for each product sold to the Fondation québécoise du cancer (FQC). This organization provides financial, legal, and psychological support to individuals affected by cancer in Quebec, while also funding research and informing the public. This campaign reflects our desire to combine beauty, enjoyment, and positive impact.

Supporting Women-Led Initiatives That Bring People Together

We are also proud to support meaningful women-led initiatives that inspire and unite. In particular, we have supported participants in the Roses des Sables Rally, a human and athletic adventure that raises funds for various organizations, including the Pink Ribbon campaign, which fights breast cancer, and the Breakfast Club of Canada, which helps more than 650,000 children across the country. The courage, solidarity, and determination of these participants reflect the values we strive to highlight.

Finally, our participation in the Soirée des Lilas beautifully illustrates our local commitment. This 100% women-led fundraising event, organized by the Fondation québécoise du cancer in Trois-Rivières, is another meaningful way we actively support our community.

    Values Lived Every Day

Community engagement goes beyond donations. It is lived within our company. At Bijouterie La Perle Rare, we believe in the importance of an inclusive and diverse workplace where each individual can thrive and be recognized for their true worth. This human-centered approach shapes the way we welcome, advise, and support our clientele, day after day.

    A Resolution That Endures

This year holds special meaning for us. Celebrating 40 years of history is an opportunity to reflect on the path traveled, but also to reaffirm what has driven us since day one: the desire to be a human, responsible jewelry house, firmly rooted in its community.

At the start of this new year, our resolution is simple yet essential: to continue being a jewelry store with heart. To remain close to our local community, to listen, to support, and to contribute with humility and consistency. Because for us, the true value of a jewel lies not only in the nobility of its materials or the refinement of its design, but also in the positive impact it creates around it.

We would like to warmly thank our clientele. Through their trust and loyalty, these philanthropic commitments are made possible and given their full meaning. Each purchase contributes, in its own way, to supporting charitable organizations that matter deeply to us and to making a real difference in the community.

Thank you for being part of this story. Together, let us continue to shine a light on what truly matters.
